Why we built a planning companion, not a travel agency
Slow Kerala started after one too many trips that felt like a checklist: a fort at nine, a beach at noon, a houseboat by sunset, gone by morning. We wanted to actually arrive somewhere — to sit still long enough to notice it. So we built the planning companion we wished we’d had: real routes, real costs, and real local contacts, with no package and no markup standing between you and the place.
Move slowly
We plan for fewer places and more days. A slower itinerary leaves room for the parts that can’t be scheduled.
Stay local
Every homestay and guide we point you to is someone we’d recommend to a friend, not a commission line on a spreadsheet.
Tread lightly
Trains over flights, walking over driving, whenever the slower option exists. Low impact, built in by design.
