Kerala rewards a route with a rhythm, not a checklist. These are the slow journeys we are building — each one a way to move through the state gently: staying longer in fewer places, travelling by train and ferry rather than a private car, and letting the days set their own pace.
The routes we are building
- The 7-day backwater route. Kochi to the canals of Alleppey and Munroe Island, at the speed of the water.
- The tea estate trail. Up into the misty hills of Munnar and the high ranges, slowly.
- Spice and stories. Old towns, markets, and the layered history of the coast.
- The ayurveda reset. A quieter, restorative journey built around rest rather than sights.
Each route is growing into a full, field-checked guide with an itinerary, a realistic budget, and honest booking notes. While they take shape, you can plan your own slow journey or wander through the field notes.
